Actors Studio’s core technique for actors is the Eric Morris System of work.  In 1987, Laurice and Johnny invited Eric Morris to Manila to conduct a workshop on his process.  It quickly became the most effective method used by professional actors active in Philippine films.  Other visits from Eric and his teachers followed through the years, following publications of his books after No Acting Please and Irreverent Acting.  The friendship with Eric continues through the years and he has certified the Actors Studio by LauriceGuillen and Johnny Delgado to teach his process.

Actors Studio is a place where actors learn by doing. Classes are held at the ACTORS STUDIO at Pixelgrain, Inc. in Julieta Circle, the Marilou Diaz-Abaya Film Institute and Arts Center in Beverly Hills, Antipolo, and at specially arranged venues for private clients.  Its regular clients include Star Cinema, ABS-CBN, and the Philippine Opera Company.

The Eric Morris System of Work

Anyone can act. What gets in the way are one's emotional obstacles or "blocks". Morris' system involves the circle of work. In eliminating obstacles, one achieves a state of being from which one can use the craft. Craft is the process with which to stimulate thoughts, feelings and impulses from one's own frame of reference and one's own experience to fulfill the demands of the material.

The Instrumental classes train the actor to identify and eliminate obstacles to expression. Craft classes train the actor on how to fulfill the obligation of dramatic material.
