ONLINE EXHIBIT OF JUAN FELEO'S PAINTINGS

A special project of Pixelgrain, Inc. is this online exhibit of paintings by Filipino actor Johnny Delgado, born Juan M Feleo.  In 1981, while prepraring for his role in the film Mga Uod At Rosas, Johnny learned to paint under the tutelage of artists Danny Dalena and Jun Albano.  He continued to paint after the film was finished, completing more than a hundred works and participating in an exhibit of naïf paintings at the Cultural Center of the Philippines, arranged by then head of its Art Division, Jun Albano.  After a hiatus of 27 years, Juan returned to painting in September 8, 2009 while afflicted with cancer, and has painted non-stop to this day with a body of more than a hundred works so far.  This exhibit shows his few remaining works from the period 1981-1982, and some of his new works from 2008 to the present.

       Ana Feleo breathes new life into well-loved Filipino romantic classics set in contemporary cinematic music. In close collaboration with award-winning film and stage composer, Von De Guzman, Ana’s warm soprano voice and soulful interpretation of these timeless classics will bring audiences, both young and old, to a renewed appreciation of classical Filipino music at its best.

       Harana is Philippine Opera Company’s newest addition to its exciting line-up of touring productions. The word Harana is the Philippine term for serenade, which is a traditional form of courtship in which a man woos a woman’s affection by singing underneath her window.

       Hushhush is a 13-episode drama series on TV5 about young showbiz celebrities.   Managed by the talent center of top television network, the group of young talents struggle with their blemished public image as they climb their way to celebrity.  The reports in text and photos become gist for the press, the fans, the detractors, and everyone who has an appetite for scandal.
